A sensor network for integrated Space Traffic Management for Australia

Clearbox Systems is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $3 million dollar grant in Round 9 of the Cooperative Research Centre - Project (CRC-P) program.

The grant with accelerate our Space Domain Awareness (SDA) program leading to a new system that will identify satellites from their transmitted signal characteristics, offering high precision tracking that can operate day or night. The network will consist of Passive RF sensors that will integrate with extant optical telescopes and make use of advanced artificial intelligence algorithms.

We have put together a world-leading, local team consisting of academic partner UNSW Canberra, Ground Station provider, Capricorn Space, and Cyber Security experts, Bluerydge.
